Recombinase Activity Detail
Allele Information
Allele:
Mapttm2(cre)Aha
microtubule-associated protein tau; targeted mutation 2, Akihiro Harada
Driver: Mapt
Type: Targeted (Recombinase)
Synonym: tau-Cre
Molecular description: A cre gene with a nuclear localization signal followed by an frt-flanked neo cassette was inserted immediately after the start methionine.
