Gt(ROSA)26Sortm1(cre/ERT)Brn - Endocrine System
Recombinase Activity Detail
Allele Information
Allele:
Gt(ROSA)26Sortm1(cre/ERT)Brn
gene trap ROSA 26, Philippe Soriano; targeted mutation 1, Anton Berns
Driver: Gt(ROSA)26Sor
Type: Targeted (knock-in)
Inducer: induced by tamoxifen
Synonym: ACM-cre, R26-CreERT, Tx-Cre, R26Cre-ERT, Cre-ERTm, R26cre-ERT, Gt(ROSA)26Sortm1(cre/Esr1)Brn
Molecular description: A splice acceptor site followed by a cre gene and puromycin resistance cassette was inserted at the ROSA26 gene trap locus. Efficient Cre-mediated recombination in transgenic mice carrying floxed reporter genes was reported to reflect constitutive expression of the Gt(ROSA)26Sor from preimplantation stages onward.
