Prss29em1(cre/EGFP)Tesp - Reproductive System
Recombinase Activity Detail
Allele Information
Allele:
Prss29em1(cre/EGFP)Tesp
serine protease 29; endonuclease-mediated mutation 1, Thomas E Spencer
Driver: Prss29
Type: Endonuclease-mediated (No functional change, Recombinase, Reporter)
Synonym: Prss29-Cre
Molecular description: Using CRISPR technology, IRES-CreEGFP-pA elements followed by a neo-selection cassette were inserted after the STOP codon in exon 6 of the Prss29 gene in the Embryonic Stem (ES) cells. Successfully targeted ES cells were used to generate chimeric mice by blastocyst injection for germline transmission.
