Molecular description: An IRES-eGFP-cre-Frt-PGK-neo-Frt cassette was inserted into the 3' UTR of the Hopx locus by homologous recombination in ES cells. Subsequently, these animals were crossed to mice expressing the FLPe recombinase to remove the PGK-neo cassette.
