Molecular description: A 3.9 kb promoter of the murine Capn8 gene was inserted into a vector containing a 1.2 kb cre recombinase coding sequence and 2.1 kb of sequence encoding the bovine growth hormone polyadenylation signal. The 7.2 kb linearized fragment was injected into fertilized FVB oocytes. Two founders were obtained.
