Lus induces sensitization of T- and B-cells that cause cytostasis of target tumor cells. The dominant B10.D2 allele suppresses production of the effector cells; the BALB/c allele enhances production. Lus interacts with an Arp mutant to produce an autoimmune lymphoid/erythroid hyperplastic disorder.
