GeneAlleleAssay TypeDescription
Albq10 susceptibility/resistance
Notes
  • Experiment
Linkage analysis was performed on 371 male (MRL/MpJ x SM/J)F2 intercross animals using 258 SNP markers to identify QTL associated with increased urinary albumin-to-creatinine ratio (ACR). Parental strain SM/J exhibits higher ACR values when compared to MRL/MpJ.

QTL Albq10 maps to 35.3 - 124.2 Mb on Chromosome 1 with a peak LOD score of 4.1 at 46 cM in linkage with urinary ACR. SM/J alleles confer increased susceptibility to increased ACR values.
