    Pulsed field gel analysis of genomic DNA from 129/Sv mice using a probe that cross hybridizes with both the Il11ra1 and Il11ra2 loci indicated that these loci are contained within the same 200kb NaeI fragment. Southern analysis confirmed the results of the pulsed field gels thus indicating that Il11ra1 and Il11ra2 are separated by at least 200kb of genomic DNA on mouse Chromosome 4.
