GeneAlleleAssay TypeDescription
Pkn1 direct sequencing (L143, L161 probe), (L165, L160 probe), (L143, L156 probe)
Ptger1 direct sequencing (L143, L156 probe)
Notes
  • Experiment
Successive and overlapping Pkn1 cDNA's were amplified with RT-PCR, starting at the stop codon and continuing in a 3' direction. The last primer pair resulting in the amplification of Prkcl1 cDNA (L143, L161 probe) was isolated in a region associated withthe 5' flanking region of Ptgerep1 on mouse Chromosome 8. Additional Pkn1 cDNA products produced by 3' RACE defined short (L165, L160 probe) and long (L143, L156 probe) transcripts. It was demonstrated that the whole Ptgerep1 gene is contained within the 3' untranslated region of the long Pkn1 transcript.
