GeneAlleleAssay TypeDescription
Dlx1 direct sequencing Dlx1 genomic 2, Dlx1 cDNA 3
Dlx1as direct sequencing Dlx1as cDNA
Dlx2 direct sequencing Dlx2 genomic 1
Notes
  • Experiment
Through the characterization of genomic clones, the authors found that the Dlx1 and Dlx2 genes are separated by about 9.4kb and that they are orientated with their 3' ends facing each other on mouse Chromosome 2. Sequence analysis of cDNA clones indicated that an antisense gene, Dlx1as, is associated with the Dlx1 gene.
