Notes
  • Reference
The sg mutation is associated with the Rora locus in MGD.
  • Experiment
Physical mapping of several overlapping YAC's, BAC's and P1's was used to map the staggerer locus (sg) to a 160kb interval on Chromosome 9. A 135kb BAC clone contained both sg and a portion of Rora. The gene order obtained from the overlapping clones wasD9Mit165 - D9Mit289 - Rorasg - Cal1h - D9Mit304 - D9Mit339 - D9Mit54 - D9Mit132. (sg has subsequently been shown to be an allele of Rora. MGD eds)
