Notes
  • Experiment
The authors report that in a recent mapping study (Stanier, Eddleston, Henson, Moore and Copp, unpublished) there were no recombinants between Vangl2 and Crp in 245 backcross progeny. This implies that Ltap and Crp lie within 1.2 cM of each other on Chromosome 1. In addition the authors indicated that Vangl2 and Crp have been coupling since the origin of inbred LPT/Le suggesting an absence of crossing over between these loci for 100 generations of inbreeding.
