    Chinese hamster x mouse somatic cell hybrids were analyzed. The HM78 hybrid discordant for Chromosome 14 was not karyotyped but classed as Chromosome 14 negative based on absence of Es-10 activity and Rbp-3 sequences. The presence of Cchl1a2 suggests that a fragment of Chromosome 14 is present in HM78.
