    Somatic cell hybrids were constructed between Chinese hamster cell line E36 and cells from BALB/c, A/HeJ, and NFS.Akv-2 mice. Two hybrids were discordant between Chromosome 1 and Gls. These contained distal Chromosome 1 fragments and expressed Pep-3 but not Gls. These data suggest Gls is proximal to Pep-3 on Chromosome 1.
