Experiment

14 Chinese hamster x mouse and 1 rat x mouse somatic cell hybrid clones were analyzed. PstI digested hybrid DNA was probed on Southern blots for Ghr using a human GHR cDNA probe. Confirmation of the assignment of Ghr to Chromosome 15 was made by analyzing EcoRI digests of the same hybrid set.
