Notes
  • Experiment
The localization of Lgals6 was determined using the JAX mouse/hamster radiation hybrid (RH) mapping panel. In the T31 panel Lgals4 and Lgals6 segregated next to each other on mouse Chromosome 7 between markers D7Mit210 and D7Mit246. The Lgals4 and Lgals6 genes differ by a 1.8-kb deletion in Lgals6. A number of mouse strains including C57BL/6J ,AKR, BALB/cJ, BDP, CB17, CB29, DBA/1J, DBA/2J, LG, NOD, NMR1, PL/J PRM, and STR do not carried Lgals6. Table 2 of this reference indicates which strain show a presence or absence of Lgals6.
