• Experiment
  A BAC contig encompassing the Cftr region on mouse Chromosome 6 was assembled and sequenced to yield ~358kb of contiguous sequence. The mouse Cftr gene was found to span ~152kb. The order/orientation of genes in this region was: 3' - Wnt2 - 5' - 3 - Gasz5' - 5' - Cftr - 3' - 3' - Cortbp2 - 5'.
