Notes
  • Experiment
    Authors isolated a P1 clone containing the Eif4a and Fxr2h genes. PCR, restricton digests and Southern analysis revealed the presence of three additional genes, Cd68, Mpdu1 and Sox15, in this region. Eif4a and Cd68 had been previously mapped to mouse Chromosome 11. The order of the genes on Chromosome 11 were estimated to be: 5' - Eif4a - 3' - 0.782kb - 5' - Cd68 - 3' - 1.7kb - 5' - Mpdu1 - 3' - 2.0kb - 3' - Sox15 - 5' - 2.0kb - 3' - Fxr2h - 5'. Mpdu1 and Sox15 were found to share the 3' ends of the transcripts in the oppoiste transcription direction.
