D8Dcw2C direct sequencing Sycp1-ps2 genomic
Notes
  • Reference
Authors use Cad11 for locus symbol Cdh11.
  • Experiment
Direct sequencing of genomic clones indicated the presence of the Sycp1-ps2 pseudogene in the exon 3 region of the Cdh11 gene. Cdh11 has been previously localized to mouse Chromosome 8, thus Sycp1-ps2 must also be localized there. Further confirmation ofthis localization was made by additionally sequencing the D8Dcw2C repeat segment flanking either side of the Sycp1-ps2 locus.
