Inbr (Dn) F65. Agouti: +. Segregates for gr (grizzled) and ji (jittery). Origin: ji arose in waltzing (v) stock of Snell before 1957. bxs to F15. To M.C.Green in 1963 and outcrossed to gr/gr stock (F30). Balanced stock bxs. To Eicher 1972, then Davisson 1980. gr from Falconer to Snell 1950. Two crosses to CBA then bxs to F30. Cross to ji/+ to make the balanced stock. ji/ji die before weaning. gr/gr often poor breeders. Maint. by Dn.
