Caption Liver zonation is affected in hypomorphic Apctm1Tno/Apctm1Tno (fl/fl) mutant mice. (A) Immunohistochemical expression analysis for beta-catenin, glutamine synthetase (GS), carbamoylphosphate synthetase (CPS) and Cyp2E1 was performed on livers of age-matched wild-type (+/+) and Apctm1Tno/Apctm1Tno (fl/fl) mice. Arrows point to nuclear beta-catenin staining. Mutants show increased number of cells with nuclear beta-catenin and altered liver zonation.
