(A) Pkd1^tm1.1Pcha/Pkd1^tm1Shh (Pkd1^RC/del2) animals develop anosteopenia like phenotype characterized by a significant decrease in cortical (left microCT image + graph) and trabecular (right microCT image) bone mass - a phenotype known to be associated with a reduction of Pkd1 in mice. BV: Bone volume, TV: Tissue volume. Statistical values were obtained by Student t-test (*p<0.05, ***p<0.001); error bars indicate +/- SD.
