GUDMAP provided the following information: 1752_EK1_01087.jpg - Metanephros sectioned through pelvis with proximal ureter; 1752_EK2_01087.jpg - Nephrogenic zone and cortex - expression in renal tubules of maturing (bottom) and capillary loop (top) nephrons; 1752_EK3_01087.jpg - NZ (right) through to pelvis (left) - expression absent from NZ and early nephrons. Expression detected in presumptive S1 segment of early proximal tubule at urinary pole of maturing nephron. Weak expression in visceral epithelium of maturing and capillary loop nephrons; 1752_EK4_01087.jpg - Medulla and cortex (right) - expression in immature loop of Henle of medulla; 1752_EK5_01087.jpg - Pelvis and proximal ureter; 1752_EK6_01087.jpg - Metanephros sectioned through medulla; 1752_EK7_01087.jpg - Cortex - note expression absent from a subset of tubules which may be early distal tubules due to their morphology and location adjacent to the renal corpuscle; 1752_EK8_01087.jpg - Cortex - expression absent from tubule adjacent to renal corpuscle likely to be a portion of the early distal tubule; 1752_EK9_01087.jpg - Cortex - note expression in first portion of early proximal tubule at urinary pole of renal corpuscle of maturing nephron presumptive S1 segment
