A: Liver in a 17.5 dpc Ada^tm1Mw/Ada⁺ fetus with angular shaped hepatocytes, abundant cytoplasmic glycogen (G), and an oval nucleus (N) with evenly distributed heterochromatin. Erythrocytic precursor cells (*) are adjacent to hepatocytes.
