Characteristics

Susceptible to audiogenic seizures (van Vliet 1977). Pup survival is only about 20% due to inadequate maternal care resulting, possibly, from susceptibility of the mother to disturbing environmental stimuli (Schiffelers and Timmermans, 1988)
