NJS

Inbr (Jing-fang, 1996) F20. Albino: A,B,c,D. Origin: Inbred by Sun Jing-fang, Medical Animal Experimental Center, Nanjing, P.R. China, from four pairs of KM outbred mice, starting in 1989, with selection for high serum cholesterol from the 6th. generation.


Characteristics

Athersclerosis in aortic sac and/or ascending aorta at 8-months is 100%. Serum cholesterol at 70 days about double that of the original base population, though no special diet has been used. Typed at 26 biochemical loci.
