Inbr (N) 59. Albino. Origin: From NIH outbred stock as multiple-branch inbred from 1936, then random breeding in the 1960s. Inbred as HSFR with selection for resistance to the action of histamine after treatment with Bordetella pertussis in 1966, then separated as NFR in 1972. Maint. by N.
