Mutation
description
Allele Type:    Targeted (Conditional ready)
Mutation:    Insertion     Vector: L1L2_st1

Mutation detailsThe L1L2_st1 cassette was inserted at a position on Chromosome 2 upstream of exon 2 of the gene. The cassette is composed of an FRT-flanked lacZ sequence fused to a neomycin sequence followed by a loxP site. A second loxP site was inserted downstream of exon 3. A "conditional ready" (floxed) allele was created by flp recombinase expression in mice carrying this allele to remove the lacZ sequence and neo selection cassette, leaving loxP sites flanking exon 3.
