Mutation
description
Allele Type:    Targeted (Null/knockout)
Mutation:    Insertion

Mutation detailsAn Engrailed-2 splice acceptor was fused to the encephalomyocarditis virus internal ribosomal entry site (IRES) and place upstream of a lacZ-neomycin fusion reporter that had been modified by the insertion of a Tn903 promoter between the lacZ and the neo. This was followed by an SV40 polyadenylation signal. This construct was flanked by Frt sites and two loxP sites flank exon 3. This construct was then targeted into intron 2. (J:138283)
