Allele Type:    Targeted (Null/knockout, Reporter) Mutations:    Insertion, Intragenic deletion   Mutation details: A 681 bp fragment of exon 1 was replaced with a lacZ-neomycin fusion gene (betageo) and a floxed PGK-neo cassette. The floxed neo was removed by cre mediated recombination. LacZ expression is seen in a pattern similar to expression of the endogenous gene. Western blot analysis confirmed the absence of protein in homozygotes (J:102218)
