Allele Type:    Targeted Mutation:    Insertion   Mutation details: The gene was disrupted by an in-frame fusion of the Nfg3 protein coding sequence and a floxed neo cassette with exon 5. Gene expression was absent in homozygous mutant animals as determined by ELISA assay. Instead, expression of Ntf3 corresponded to the expression pattern of Bdnf in mutant animals. (J:82462)
