• adults up to 50 weeks of age appear normal, healthy and have no differences in body weight, mice show no detectable defect in B cells in bone marrow or spleen, no effect on lymph node or spleen cellularity, no effect on the magnitude or quality of a polyclonal germ cell B cell response to sheep red blood cell immunization, no effect on T cell thymic development or T cell splenic maturation, and no effect on the distribution of murine lymphoid and myeloid leukocyte subsets in the bone marrow or spleen
