• decrease in fractional shortening and velocity of circumferential shortening in 3-4 month old mice
• +dP/dt responses to pacing are blunted in hearts
• dP/dt responses to pacing are blunted in hearts
• echocardiography of 3-4 month old mice shows a 14% increase in left ventricular end diastolic diameter and 31% increase in left ventricular end systolic diameter in 3-4 month old mice, a 20% increase in left ventricular mass, and decreased fractional shortening and velocity of circumferential shortening
• sarcoplasmic reticulum calcium uptake is decreased in ventricles from 3-4 month old mice
