• at 6-8 weeks of age, Western blot analysis revealed that chromogranin B (CgB) protein levels in the adrenal medulla are reduced to 68.7% of wild-type levels
• in contrast, adrenal chromogranin A, and secretogranin II and III levels are not significantly altered
