• T cells are resistant to tolerance induced by peptide injections
• T cells from mutant mice pre-treated with OVA produce higher levels of IL-2 and IFN-gamma, and proliferate more vigorously in response to OVA restimulation than do controls
• IFN-gamma production is higher for T cells from mutant mice pre-treated with OVA compared to mutant mice pre-treated with PBS
