behavior/neurological
• impaired trace fear conditioning
• however, delay fear conditioning behavior is similar to controls
• in a radial maze after training mice perform just barely above the chance level unlike wild-type controls which after training show nearly perfect performance
• decrease in aggression in a resident intruder assay
• mice spend more time sniffing the snout end of intruders compared to controls

nervous system
• in the hilar region of CA3 pyramidal cells appear more scattered
• increase in the frequency of trilamination of suprapyramidal mossy fibers
• significant depression of the slope of the field EPSP in the first 5 minutes post tetanus

homeostasis/metabolism
N
• despite abnormalities in aggressive behavior, serum testosterone levels are similar to controls

taste/olfaction
N
• despite abnormalities in aggressive behavior, no abnormalities in olfaction are detected
