immune system
• in culture, the initial number of double positive T cell undergoing apoptosis is greater than for wild-type cells
• however, the rate of apoptosis in vitro is normal
• the total number of thymocytes is reduced by half of wild-type
• the total number of thymocytes is reduced by half of wild-type
• the number of single positive T cells in the thymus is lower than in wild-type mice
• however, the number of double positive cells is normal
• T cell development is partially blocked after pre-TCR signaling and the DN4 population is reduced compared to in wild-type mice
• mice exhibit an increase in double negative T cell compared to in wild-type mice up to stage DN4
• the total number of inguinal lymph node cells is decreased by half of wild-type
