• mature B cells in the blood and lymph nodes are 20-25% higher than in Igk-Ctm1Jkbv homozygotes
• mature B cells expressing human kappa light chain are twice as common as B cells expressing murine lambda light chain
• there is a 2-fold accumulation of small pre- B cells in the bone marrow
• the concentration of antibodies containing murine lambda light chain are reduced to levels of 300 micrograms per ml compared to 580 micrograms per ml in Igk-Ctm1Jkbv homozygotes
• the concentration of antibodies containing human kappa light chain is 720 micrograms per ml in sera
