• at P7, coalescence of M71 axons into glomeruli is disturbed with the average number of labeled glomeruli increased to 5.4 and 3.0 in the lateral and medial half-bulbs, respectively compared to 1.0 and 1.3 in heterozygous and wild-type controls
• several of these glomeruli appear smaller than in controls
• at P30, almost all mice still show more than 3 glomeruli per half-bulb and fewer glomeruli appear homogeneous
• at P60 multiple small glomeruli persist
