• at P7, coalescence of MOR23 axons into glomeruli is disturbed with the average number of labeled glomeruli increased to 3.3 and 2.2 in the lateral and medial half-bulbs, respectively compared to 1.0 and 1.1 in wild-type controls
• several of these glomeruli appear smaller than in controls
• however, almost all glomeruli appear homogeneous
