• mice do not exhibit a decrease in coordination following treatment with neurotensin 2 unlike wild-type mice
• mice fail to exhibit an increase in latency during a hot plate test following treatment with neurotensin or neurotensin 2 unlike wild-type mice

digestive/alimentary system
• mice do not exhibit a decrease in colonic propulsion following treatment with neurotensin 2 unlike wild-type mice
• however, mice are still susceptible to clonidine induced hypoperistalsis

homeostasis/metabolism
• following injection of 1 ug neurotensin or 1 mg/kg neurotensin 2, mice fail to exhibit a hypothermic response as wild-type mice do

muscle
• mice do not exhibit a decrease in colonic propulsion following treatment with neurotensin 2 unlike wild-type mice
• however, mice are still susceptible to clonidine induced hypoperistalsis
