• when treated with the a 0.1 mg/kg dose of echothiophate (the LD50 dose for wild-type mice), no F5 generation transgenic mice die compared to 3/8 wild-type animals, indicating that transgene expression confers protection from organophosphate toxicity

• F5 generation mice show only slight tremors, compared to wild-type mice that show severe signs of toxicity like whole body tremor when treated with 0.1 mg/kg echothiophate
