nervous system
• in 5-12 month old mice, Abeta peptide deposits are observed, with higher Abeta(1-38)/Abeta(1-40) ratio and lower Abeta(1-42)/Abeta(1-40) ratio than Tg(PDGFB-APPSwInd)20Lms-expressing mice
• plaque formation occurs earlier and is more extensive than in Tg(PDGFB-APPSwInd)20Lms mice
• mice have more plaques than Tg(PDGFB-APPSwInd)20Lms mice at 6-7 months of age
• mice develop striking parenchymal plaques but show no obvious increase in cerebrovascular amyloid deposition compared to Tg(PDGFB-APPSwInd)20Lms mice
• dystrophic neurites are associated with plaques
• mice have more dystrophic neurites than Tg(PDGFB-APPSwInd)20Lms mice at 6-7 months

homeostasis/metabolism
