decreased susceptibility to endotoxin shock ( J:98908 )
• exhibited no TNF production in response to smooth lipopolysaccharide (LPS), however response to lipid A from Salmonella Minnesota was normal
increased susceptibility to Riboviria infection ( J:98908 )
• macrophages exposed to vesicular stomatitis virus (VSV) could not contain the infection and were more susceptible to lysis than controls
