immune system
• following subcutaneous immunization with keyhole limpet hemocyanin/complete Freund's adjuvant (KLH/CFA) emulsion the number of lymphocytes from draining lymph nodes is significantly decreased compared to wild-type controls
• 5 days after immunization keyhole limpet hemocyanin-specific T-cell proliferative response in draining lymph nodes is dramatically decreased
• 9 days after immunization keyhole limpet hemocyanin-specific T-cell proliferative response in draining lymph nodes is restored to that in wild-type controls
• 4 days after KLH/CFA immunization the delayed type hypersensitivity responses are dramatically reduced in mutants compared to wild-type mice as a result of deficient T cell priming
