• reduced numbers of immature B cells
• together with pre-BI cells, numbers increase 2 fold in cultured bone marrow cells
• reduced numbers of mature B cells
• reduced numbers of B1-a cells at 10 days of age
• pre-BII cells are severely decreased in numbers (25 fold at 3 weeks and 12 fold at 8-9 weeks)
• 7 fold decrease in large cells and 15 fold decrease in small cells
