• however, thymocyte development and thymus architecture appear to be normal, and no differences are observed in T-cell selection or splenocyte number relative to sex- and age-matched wild-type littermates
• on average, homozygotes exhibit ~30% fewer thymocytes than wild-type control littermates
• however, the percentages of each thymocyte subpopulation (CD4SP, CD8SP, DP, and DN) are comparable to those of control littermates
