neoplasm
• at 1 year all males show primary prostate tumors with associated lymphocytic invasion
• metastatic deposits are detected in lungs of all mice and 50 weeks

endocrine/exocrine glands
• epithelial hyperplasia and dysplasia are observed in ventral lobe of prostate in all mice at 12 weeks; lesions present as disorganized layers of epithelial cells in contrast to single regular layer observed in controls
• tufting and intraepithelial lumen formation, cellular atypia with enlarged, hyperchromatic nuclei of variable shapes and sizes are frequently observed
