Acetm2Keb mutation (0 available); any Ace mutation (54 available)
phenotype observed in females
phenotype observed in males
N normal phenotype
reproductive system
• males sire smaller litters than wild-type
• however, females produce normal sized litters
• males sire fewer litters than wild-type (3 litters from 14 plugged females compared to 10 litters from 14 plugged females bred to wild-type males)

renal/urinary system
• mice exhibit vascular hypertrophy of the arteries and arterioles
• urine concentration is half that seen in wild-type mice
• half the mice exhibit focal expansion of Bowman's space
• one mouse had unilateral calyceal dilation and three had calyceal dilation similar to that seen in other ACE-deficient mice
• mice produce twice the volume of urine at half the concentration relative to wild-type mice

homeostasis/metabolism
• urine concentration is half that seen in wild-type mice

cardiovascular system
• mice exhibit vascular hypertrophy of the arteries and arterioles
• 75 mmHg compared to 110 mmHg in wild-type mice
