Mutation:    Insertion

Mutation detailsThis allele was generated at The Centre for Phenogenomics. A single repair template containing P2A, mTagBFP2, and an SV40 polyA signal was delivered by incubating embryos with recombinant adeno-assoicated virus followed by electroporating Cas9 ribonucleoprotein complexes with a guide RNA with the spacer sequence GGGTGAGAAGAGTTCTTGTC. This resulted in insertion of P2A-mTagBFP2 in-frame with CD48 after Chr1:171532442 with a deletion of the Cd48 stop codon Chr1:171532443 to 171532445 (GRCm39). The resulting allele is predicted express mTagBFP2 under control of the Cd48 promoter while leaving CD48 expression and function intact. (J:322048)
